Bransaveisla is an educational  program organised by the Iceland Music and Reykjavik Music City, with support from Business Iceland. It is specifically designed to be of maximum value for the Icelandic music industry / artists and held in celebration of Iceland Airwaves, which takes place in the same week.

In collaboration with the music company INNI and STEF, we present a Pitch Party workshop featuring a team of music supervisors and sync specialists visiting the festival. Participants will have the opportunity to present their work to some of the world’s leading music supervisors and learn what film and TV producers look for when selecting or commissioning music. The group will be in Iceland accompanied by Lauren Harman, who has worked closely with Icelandic music companies for years, creating significant international opportunities for Icelandic artists and labels.

Participants are:

Lauren Harman is a music industry veteran and pioneer of third-party sync representation since 2005. Having signed artists like Andrew Bird, Beach House, Justice, Sufjan Stevens, Sharon Jones, and Cyndi Lauper, she has generated millions in sync revenue. These days she’s running a consulting company, Very Well, amalgamation of the twenty years she’s been at the frontlines of film/tv/music and A&R.

Andy Hamm is a professional musician and artist who has been doing Music Supervision since 2014. His experience includes CP+B, Local Natives, One Two Many/ATC, Media Arts Lab, Melted Bodies and Apple.

Alex Hackford is Senior Artists & Repertoire/Music Affairs Director at Sony Interactive Entertainment, overseeing music integration into current titles like Gran Turismo, Spider-Man, MLB: The Show, and others.  In this role, he works with game development teams on a musical strategy, hires composers and musicians to score/write original music for Sony’s first party games.

Kelsey Mitchell is a multi award-winning Music Supervisor for entertainment advertising and for film based out of Los Angeles. Her work in theatrical advertising has won her six CLIO awards, as well as nominations for the Golden Trailer Awards and the Guild of Music Supervisors Awards.  Some clients include Universal, Sony, Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, and Disney.
