Applications are open for the Nordic songwriting workshop, WE MAKE MUSIC, which will take place from October 28th to November 1st in Copenhagen. The workshop is intended for female or non-binary songwriters with experience in writing for other artists.

Iceland is invited to send two participants, just like last year.

Participants are expected to have a good command of the English language in songwriting, and those who write in Icelandic have little to no chance of being selected.

The application deadline is 11:59 PM on August 23rd.

FTT will cover the participation fee for the selected songwriters, but they will need to cover their own travel and accommodation costs.

We suggest applying for a travel grant from the STEF Travel Fund.

The organizers of the songwriting workshop will select participants from the applications, and it is intended for experienced songwriters.

It is necessary to bring a laptop, musical instruments (guitar/keyboard), and headphones for the work.
