Musicians, composers, sound artists, and other contemporary music professionals have the opportunity to present their projects at PODIUM during Dark Music Days. This platform provides visibility to artistic directors of international contemporary music festivals and journalists visiting Iceland for the festival.

Event Details:
PODIUM will take place during Dark Music Days on Saturday, January 25th, from 10:00 to 12:00 at Iceland Music, Austurstræti 5.

Organised by the Iceland Music and Dark Music Days with support from Promote Iceland, PODIUM is an annual showcase event designed to increase the visibility and international opportunities for Icelandic contemporary music projects. Additional international guests are being confirmed, with representatives from the Ultima Contemporary Music Festival, Klang Festival, and Seismograf already attending.

Participation is free and open to all contemporary music practitioners in Iceland. Space is limited, so an application is required to secure a spot. Please apply HERE by November 18th; all applicants will be notified by December 2nd.

Each selected project will be allotted 10 minutes to present and take questions from the audience. Please indicate in the application form if you require a projector, sound equipment, or plan to use any special format in your presentation.
