Nordic Film Music Days 2025 provides an exciting opportunity for film composers to showcase their talents and build connections within the international film and music industries. This year’s event will take place in Berlin on February 15–16, alongside the Berlinale Film Festival at the Nordic Embassies and the Nordische Botschaften.
The event brings together Nordic composers for workshops on contract negotiations, panel discussions on film music, and presentations of films nominated for the HARPA Nordic Film Composers Award.
In 2025, Iceland Music, in collaboration with NFMD, is offering composers the chance to attend networking sessions with film producers and other key professionals at the Berlinale. Interested composers must apply, and those selected will receive a travel grant of 75,000 ISK to help cover costs. Participation in the festival's events is free, but attendees will need to arrange and pay for their own travel and accommodation.
For composers aiming to establish themselves on Nordic and international stages, Nordic Film Music Days is an invaluable platform for learning, networking, and promotion.
Deadline to apply: December 11.
