Icelandic music lit up the spring sun at SXSW as Iceland Airwaves took over the gloriously disheveled Shangri-La in Austin, TX. With standout performances from Lúpína, Sunna Margrét, and Superserious, it was one of those "had to be there" moments—but don’t worry, we’ve got the BTS to prove it.

The trip had its fair share of highlights: one bout of sunstroke, several rounds of karaoke, a few essential snaps at the Daniel Johnston mural, more tacos than we care to count, and, most importantly, some unforgettable performances.
