Bransaveisla: International speed-meetings
The IA conference taking place on November 7th and 8th attracts music industry professionals from all corners of the globe, making the Airwaves week a perfect opportunity to build connections between the Icelandic music community and professionals from the international music industry.
To facilitate this, networking meetings will be held at Bingo on November 6th from 4 PM to 6 PM, where attendees can apply for 15-minute 'speed-dating' meetings with international guests offering their expertise and services. Following this, Iceland Music and Reykjavik Music City will host a Happy Hour for participants at the same venue.
This is a diverse group of professionals from various sectors of the music industry, including festival bookers, publishers, agents, and marketing representatives from the UK, the USA, and Germany. Limited Space

Lena Ingwersen is the director of the Music Cities Network (MCN) and also a DJ in her spare time. The music city of Reykjavík is part of MCN, and through this collaboration, Icelandic music has gained a steadfast supporter in Lena.
Rebecca Mason is a senior publicist at Inside Out, UK's leading independent music communications agency. Among her clients are Bloc Party, CHVRCHES, Pale Waves, and of course, Iceland Airwaves!
Lauren Harman is a self-acclaimed “Sync Auntie”, Lauren is a music industry veteran and pioneer of third-party sync representation. Having worked with artists like Andrew Bird, Beach House, Sufjan Stevens, Grizzly Bear, Justice, and hundreds more.
Kevin Cole was responsible for leading the programmatic vision for on-air, online, and in person for 18 years as KEXP’s Chief Content Officer/SDP. During this time KEXP recorded over 300 sessions with Icelandic artists viewed over 150 million times on KEXP’s YouTube channel. Under Kevin’s lead, KEXP evolved from a Seattle-based radio station to a globally revered music discovery arts organization.
Label
Brian Lowit is the label manager at Dischord Records, one of the most influential independent record labels in the world, as well as the owner of Lovitt Records. He is a dedicated supporter of Icelandic music and has worked with a handful of Icelandic artists.
Augustin Eude is International & Catalogue Manager at One Little Independent Records, an established UK independent record label known for releasing music by notable Icelandic artists such as Björk, Ásgeir, Arny Margret and Kaktus Einarsson amongst many others.
Henry Prince is head of digital operations at One Little Independent Records in London. His role is analysing and maximising label revenue by optimising the repertoire on digital platforms and maintaining full and up-to-date metadata with royalty collection societies around the world.
Managers
Aurora Di Rienzo lives in Copenhagen, where she works as a manager and booking agent for the booking agency Kin. Among the artists she manages are Lúpína and Inspector Spacetime.
Erin Lynch is the owner of FlyingFox AB, a booking agency and event organizer from Stockholm. Among her clients are Sólstafir, Oranssi Pazuzu, Elinborg, Múr, and Hamferð.
Nick Knowles is an artist manager and the founder of KxKn. He specialises in working with Icelandic artists, including clients like Sóley, Eydís Evensen, and Sunna Margrét.
Al Mills is a key member of the Red Light Management London team. She co-manages artists including Interpol, Belle & Sebastian, Ride and Monobloc performing at Airwaves.
Bookers
Tonio Amin Zaoui has been working as a booking agent and promoter for more than 11 years. Since 2017 Tonio has been running ‘dq agency’ with his two partners in Berlin. He is looking for international artists and new partners in the live-industry.
Ariane Mohr is part of the booking team for the Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg, one of the largest showcase festivals in the world. She’s worked for Reeperbahn since 2018 and has actively contributed to making the festival what it is today.
Berkli Johnson is a Music Festival Programmer at SXSW. Growing up in the Austin music scene she has seen SXSW grow first hand over the years. She believes in helping creative people achieve their goals and curates unique showcases across multiple stages and genres every year.
Simon Baily is a national promoter at Crosstown Concerts in the UK. Among the artists on his roster are Maruja, Katy J Pearson, Pale Blue Eyes, Squid and Slowdive.
