We kicked off Bransaveisla with Events 1, 2, and Airwaves. Helena Sif Gunnarsdóttir, our communication advisor and content creator, greeted the crowd and introduced María Rut Reynisdóttir, who shared insights on what Iceland Music is all about.
Helena then took the stage again to explain Bransaveisla’s purpose, offering tips on how to make the most of Airwaves. This event marked the close of Day 1.
Day 2 began at 2 pm with the panel Mental Health Matters, featuring Árni Þór Ólafur Arnalds manager, Nanna from Of Monsters and Men, Grímur Atlason, and Tamsin Embleton, who talked about the importance of maintaining your mental health, especially for touring artists.
Next was a Fireside Chat with Júnía Lín—Laufey’s twin and creative director. Led by Helena Sif Gunnarsdóttir, this discussion covered the role of a creative director, navigating social media, and its growing importance today.
The third event on Day 2, ÚTRÁS, was the launch of this export-ready course series. Leifur Björnsson was joined by Paul Bridgewater, Sophie Walker, and Rebecca Mason to discuss project marketing and Electronic Press Kits (EPKs).
Meanwhile, Sync Masterclass with Lauren Harman kicked off, providing guests with wine, cheese, and a casual setting for sync-related discussions.
