Music Fund

One of the statutory roles of Iceland Music is the administration of the Music Fund. The fund provides grants for a wide range of projects in the music sector, including creation, recording and release, domestic touring, export projects (travel and marketing grants), as well as infrastructure and development.

Independent allocation committees are appointed by the Minister, while a staff member of Iceland Music oversees the allocations and coordinates the work of the committees.
