Music residency exchange program: Reykjavík - Nantes

Reykjavík Music City, the City of Nantes, Iceland Music, STEF, hafnar.haus, and the Nantes-based music centre Trempo offer an artist exchange residency for musicians from Reykjavík and Nantes. The aim of the project is to connect the two cities and their music communities, while fostering sustainable collaboration through the power of music and creativity.

The residency provides selected artists with the opportunity to create music in a fully equipped studio and rehearsal space for 2–3 weeks, with no specific requirements regarding the final outcome of the work. It also offers a unique chance to connect with the music scene in respective cities—through exchanges with fellow artists as well as music industry professionals
