Arny Margret

Arny Margret is an indie folk singer-songwriter from the remote Westfjords of Iceland, where she grew up working in her family's bakery. Her quiet, introspective songs first found life in a small Reykjavík studio, leading to her acclaimed 2022 debut, They Only Talk About the Weather—a collection of gentle, emotionally vivid tracks that introduced her as a powerful new voice in folk music. Arny quickly gained international attention, touring with artists like Wilco, Blake Mills, and Leif Vollebekk.

Her new album, I Miss You, I Do explores homesickness, identity, and the complexity of growing up, blending sparse Icelandic roots with lush American textures. Arny continues crafting delicate yet moving portraits of human vulnerability with each song, marking her as one of Iceland's most compelling young artists.

superserious

Superserious is an indie band from Iceland known for their energetic live shows, irreverent spirit, and catchy alt-rock sound. Formed in 2021, the band—made up of vocalist and songwriter Daniel, producer/bassist Kristinn, guitarist Haukur, and drummer Sólrún—channels the vibrant energy of 2010s indie rock, drawing inspiration from The Strokes, The Cardigans, and The Hives.

With a new album on the way in 2025, Superserious is just getting started, bringing their bold sound and signature sense of fun to stages at home and beyond.

Hermigervill

DJ Hermigervill will host the evening and play Icelandic tunes with a twist to keep the guests moving between sets. A longtime heavyweight of the Icelandic music scene, Hermigervill, a multi-instrumentalist, producer, composer, and DJ, has worked with many notable Icelandic artists, produced many Icelandic number-one hits, and released innumerable records under various guises.
