The annual Grapevine Music Awards 2025 took place on February 6th at a celebratory ceremony in Mengi. Held annually since 2013, this marks the 13th edition of the awards.

This year, a panel of judges assembled by The Reykjavík Grapevine nominated 31 bands or musicians across eight different categories. The panel included local promoter Agnes Hlynsdóttir, DJ and music writer Alexander Le Sage De Fontenay, RÚV music critic Júlía Aradóttir, musician and event manager Maria-Carmela Raso, record purveyor, musician, and festival organizer Pan Thorarensen, and Grapevine’s music editor Jóhannes Bjarkason.
