In collaboration with NOMEX, we invite labels, agents, and others working in the heavy music sector to apply for a networking trip to the Summer Breeze Open Air Festival in Dinkelsbühl, Germany.

The festival, which runs from 13–16 August, has been held annually since 1997. It welcomes around 40,000 guests each year and is one of the largest and most respected metal festivals in Europe.

The trip will include up to nine industry and Q&A events with key players from the European heavy music scene. Past participants include representatives from Napalm Records, Nuclear Blast, Century Media, Metal Blade, and more. A so-called Captains Dinner is also included, as well as of course, access to the festival.

Iceland Music will cover participation in the programme, festival passes, accommodation, and local travel from the airport, but participants must cover the cost of flights themselves.

Those selected are encouraged to apply for a travel grant from the Iceland Music Fund (Tónlistarsjóður). The next application deadline is 1 August
