Open call for HARPA Nordic Film Composers Award 2025 - Submit your score by September 1st
Nordic Film Music Days are asking composers working in the Nordic countries and who are members of a national Nordic collecting society, like STEF, to submit their best Film & TV Scores.
This is an annual event where one score from each Nordic country is nominated for the award and presented at the festival. The film or TV series associated with each nominated score will also be screened at the festival.
Nominated composers are invited to the festival, where they have the opportunity to present their scores and network with industry professionals.
The composition must be for a narrative feature, documentary, or TV series released between July 21st, 2023, and July 21st, 2024, and the length of the submission must be at least 50 minutes long. The defining release date is the one stated on the official IMDB page of the submitted work.
The submission deadline is September 1st.
Your submission must include the following:
- Full name & contact info of the composer (e-mail & phone number)
- Membership number of the National Collecting Society
- Link to screener with English subtitles
- Link to the IMDB page of the submission

The winner of HARPA Nordic Film Composers Award 2025 will be announced at the HARPA Award Ceremony, Saturday February 15th at Nordische Botschaften.
