Virtuoso accordionist Ásta and folk singer Ása have just returned from the Nordic Folk Alliance in Uppsala, Sweden, where they represented Iceland Music and introduced the Nordic folk community to Icelandic tango music from the early 20th century.

To mark the occasion, we invited them to take over our Love Letter playlist – and truth be told, we couldn’t imagine a more soothing soundtrack for the Easter holidays just around the corner. The playlist weaves together beloved classics from the last century with a few modern gems, all wrapped in the cosiest of moods. It’s the perfect companion for slow days when morning turns seamlessly into evening, when one good book becomes two, and the coffee gives way to hot chocolate.
