Travel Grants are awarded to musicians and professionals seeking opportunities in larger markets, such as through touring, participating in delegations, trade events, and showcase festivals. Grants are also available for composers whose works are being premiered, as well as for professionals travelling between regions within Iceland for work-related purposes such as conferences and networking events.
Grants are awarded bi-monthly, and the most recent application deadline was 31 March. In total, 52 applications were submitted, requesting ISK 13,150,000. The allocation committee awarded ISK 3,900,000 to 15 projects.
The next application deadline for Travel Grants is 31 May.
