The Icelandic Music Awards took place on March 12 at Harpa. Below are the nominees, with the winners highlighted. We are proud to witness the continued vibrancy and productivity of the Icelandic music scene.

Awards were given for performances, singing, songs/compositions, and records or larger works. Additionally, several awards were presented across all categories for sound engineering, music videos, and live events. The Academy of the Icelandic Music Awards consists of 24 individuals, all of whom are active with in the music scene. The committees are evenly composed of 13 women and 13 men, with two male and two female chairpersons.
