Iceland Music, Reykjavik Music City and Iceland Innovation Week are offering three practical workshops focused on key aspects of project management and how participants can develop and strengthen their projects. These workshops are specifically designed for those who have received a business grant from the Music Fund.
February 20 | 13:00-16:00: Project & Event Management + Goal Setting
Developing and establishing infrastructure projects within the music industry requires a clear strategy and focused execution. In this workshop, we will explore how to effectively utilize grants, focusing on key steps in operations, project management, and event planning. We will discuss how to set realistic and measurable goals that support the long-term development of music festivals, venues, releases, and artist management, among other projects.
February 26 | 13:00-16:00: Defining Value & Identifying the Right Target Audience
Participants will be introduced to practical tools and methods that can be used to build independent artistic projects. We will explore how core concepts from entrepreneurship can be applied to the operation and organization of music-related projects, with an emphasis on helping participants structure and develop their own projects in a strategic manner.
March 6 | 13:00-16:00: Digital Marketing
This workshop focuses on defining and reaching the right audience. We will cover how to make the most of a small budget for targeted marketing, social media, and search engine optimization (SEO). Additionally, we will introduce useful digital marketing solutions that anyone can implement.
