Following on from her critically acclaimed albums 'Love in the Time of Science' and her Rough Trade debut 'Fisherman's Woman', Icelandic chanteuse Emilíana Torrini is to release her third album, 'Me and Armini', on 8th September 2008.

Lay Low's Second Coming
Lovísa Elísabet Sigrúnardóttir, AKA Lay Low, has officially started work on her highly anticipated follow up to the platinum-selling 'Please Don't Hate Me'. Lovísa is currently recording with producer Liam Watson at ToeRag Studios in London, alongside musicians Ed Turner, Carwyn Ellis, Rupert Brown, Matt Bradford and BJ Cole.
 

Björk, Sigur Rós Named Friends of U.N.
Björk, Sigur Rós and náttúra organisers Einar Örn and Margrét Vilhjálmsdóttir have been officially named Friends of the United Nations in recognition of their achievements in spreading a positive environmental message following the recent Náttúra concert - Iceland's largest ever live music event.
