gogoyoko Opens In Scandinavia
Innovative new online music platform gogoyoko has opened its doors in Scandinavia! The new version of the site is now up and boasts features like a new, exciting music player and the ability to connect your profile status with your Twitter account. In coming weeks the gogoyoko team will be introducing new social media features as well as lots of new improvements to the site in general.

Einar Örn Joins Gorillaz On Next LP
We recently learned from the wonderful folk over at Iceland Review that singer-songwriter Einar Örn Benediktsson of Icelandic experimentalists Ghostigital (and formerly of the Sugarcubes) was in London last week to record a song with The Gorillaz the virtual band created by Damon Albarn, for their next album.

Lady & Bird - Album & One-Off Paris Show
On 5 June 2008, Keren Ann Zeidel and Barði Jóhannsson (Bang Gang) provided the closing performance at the Reykjavik Art festival. Their act went down so well that the festival director was keen to invite them back to perform a new work in 2010. They were accompanied, for the first time, by the renowned Iceland Symphony Orchestra a classical ensemble featuring over 80 musicians...

ET Tumason's 2nd Polish Tour
Blues veteran ET Tumason is to undertake his second tour of Poland this month. The hyperactive Icelandic blues protege started playing music when he was five, and taught himself the blues when he was 13. After signing to Berlin’s infamous 8MM label back in 2006, Tumason recently relocated again to Copenhagen. From the 14th, he will be swinging his six-string everywhere from Krakow to, um, Piotrków Trybunalski.

Worm Is Green Unleash Third Album
Electronic maestros Worm Is Green have released their third studio album. Titled Glow, the 10-track album is self-released by the band and will be available only as digital download. The album was written and recorded over a four year period and according to band member Arni Teitur is part of a larger concept that is to be slowly revealed an album at a time.
