London Airwaves Music Festival Announced

Iceland’s most innovative music festival, Iceland Airwaves, celebrates it’s 10th anniversary this year and will land in East London for an all-night extravaganza of cutting edge music and culture in September featuring some of the world’s hottest breaking bands and DJ’s – including The Whip, Teenagers, Metronomy, Florence and the Machine and many more.The inaugural festival will be spread across eight of the best venues in East London and will showcase some of the finest international breaking talent for a cosmopolitan mix of live bands, electronic dance acts and top DJ’s.

All of the venues will be given over exclusively to the festival so that anyone with a wristband will be able to move freely between them – taking in their favourite bands and DJ’s in everywhere from bars to clubs and even an old warehouse. There will also be surprise special guest appearances - exclusive shows that are guaranteed to stir excitement at the festival and will be kept a secret until the day of the festival.
