Mammút Return To Europe!

It's been a while since we heard from post punk troupe Mammút but the word on the street (and on their MySpace) is that they're going to be playing a slew of dates around Europe between July 23rd and August 6th, 2010. This tour is the second follow-up tour after the release of their fantastic Karkari album in Germany through Rough Trade/Rocket Girl.

The dates and venues for the tour are below, and Mammút fans will also be happy to know the band are writing new material as we speak and will be fully concentrating on that after the tour. "The plan," they say, "is to play quite a lot of new songs at the next Iceland Airwaves festival." A new album will hopefully be ready late this year or early next year, but the band promise to try and release some singles sooner than later.
