Réttir - Reykjavík's New Round Up
As if it wasn't enough for Reykjavik to be offering the International Film Festival (September 17-27) and IMX's own You Are in Control music, arts & media conference (September 23rd & 24th), the city is now also hosting a wonderful new musical extravaganza in the shape of Réttir. Réttir - or "Reykjavik Round-Up" - is a 4 day music series taking place in Reykjavik between September 23-26. Hosted by various elements of Reykjavik's music scene (YAIC participants, gogoyoko, The Reykjavík Grapevine, RIFF, local record labels and artists) the event will feature an exceptional spread of Icelandic musical talent. In fact it's so good, even the infamous Apparat Organ Quartet have reformed for it! We'd recommend you come to this if you're unfortunate enough to be able to make Airwaves this year.
