Emiliana Scores First Icelandic No. 1 in Germany!
Emiliana Torrini made Icelandic music history last week when her single "Jungle Drums" managed to top the German singles charts. The single is strong in its position and looks set to stay at the top this week, meaning a probably Gold status (150,000 sales). Airplay of the single remains massive, with around 1000 plays per week which also got "Jungle Drums" to No. 4 of the airplay charts.
The single is taken from Torrini's third album Me & Armini which currently has a solid Top 20 position and is also set to attain Gold status soon.
