Traditional Icelandic Music Workshops in Scotland

Icelandic folk performers and educators Bára Grimsdottir and Chris Foster will be teaching and performing in Scotland this month and next. The duo will be taking part in a series of summer schools (organised by The Living Tradition) which will include an instrumental week based around guitar, mandolin and harp (19th-24th July at Dundee University), a second week at Brodick Castle on the Island of Arran (27th - 31st July) and a third week - back at Dundee University - called Common Ground: a full on all-singing, all-dancing week with instrumental and singing workshops, including Icelandic Tvísöngur.
