Gímaldin og félagar - You Are Not The One I Chose

Icelandic folk rock musician gímaldin has released a new feature album as gímaldin og félagar (gimaldin and comrades), titled Þú ert ekki sá sem ég valdi (You Are Not The One I Chose).

While mostly having worked solo over the years, gímaldin has also worked with musicians including 5ta herdeildin - an icelandic punk-folk-slash-activist group, operational from 2001 to 2006, (check out the 5ta herdeildin section on www.gimaldin.com to hear the three albums he worked on with them), and poets including Hljómorð, Eiríkur Örn Norðdah and Kristín Ómarsdóttir.

Þú ert ekki sá sem ég valdi is the latest release from gímaldin, the last album being his Midi prójektíf, released last December on Gogoyoko. gímaldin promised that his current album would be out 'before the end of time' and we're very glad it is.
