LaBeouf Nudity in Sigur Rós Vid Causes Stir

The series of videos to accompany new Sigur Rós album 'Valtari' is going apace, but one promo has particularly caught the attention of the world's media - because it features a naked Shia LaBeouf...

The Hollywood actor features in the video for 'Fjogur Piano', directed by Alma Har'el, and the band has described the dreamy, somewhat trippy result as "amazing". There is also erotic trapeze, female nudity and a lady who seems to get extremely angry about a butterfly. 

As for us, we're not sure what's more surprising - seeing Shia in his all-together or the sight of him dressed in an ostrich feather shrug and ladies' tights. (We're just jealous. He looks better in tights than we do.)

Bassist Georg Holm told Rolling Stone: "We really had no idea what to expect from Alma. Originally she was going to film us on super 8 in Iceland all playing the piano lines from the song, but then she rang and said she'd met Shia LaBeouf and they'd changed the idea, that was the last we heard of the concept and she told us nothing about what was going on. At first I didn't know what to make of the video, because it is so full of ideas and confusion, but now I completely love it. It seems to have no beginning and no end, and just makes you think about what might and might not be going on. It's a puzzle and I think it's absolutely amazing."
