Icelandic psych rockers Brain Police have reportedly had their track 'Jacuzzi Story' sampled illegally by UK grime artist Skepta on his track 'Hold On'.
Brain Police's label Small Stone are currently seeking Skepta's representatives and say they are likely to sue. Fans of the Icelandic band have meanwhile been bombarding Skepta's social networking sites with complaints against the track that is currently on sale.
Skepta has released this statement in response: 'I just found out and am sorry to hear the Brain Police did not know about being sampled. I will add that I did not produce the instrumental and I did not steal anybody's work, I only rapped the lyrics. I do not support illegally stealing music at all. Credits to Brain Police - Skepta.'
In other Brain Police news, the band are making festival appearances at the Desertfest Festival in the UK (6-8 April) and Germany (19, 20, 21 April).
