Björk is collaborating with natural history film-maker David Attenborough on a music documentary for the UK's Channel 4, entitled 'Attenborough And Björk: The Nature Of Music'.

The programme, directed by Louise Hooper, will look at the evolution of music, our relationship with the medium and how technology is likely to affect it in years to come, according to Hollywood Reporter. Björk's admiration of Attenborough is well known: she refers to him as her "rock star" and the broadcaster voiced the introduction and narration to the live Biophilia shows. The Biophilia project itself is described as being at the heart of the film.

Executive producer, Lucas Ochoa, has said of the documentary: "Born from Bjork's revolutionary music project (Biophilia') we are thrilled to be able to document this incredible journey with her; she is undeniably one of the most iconic figures in popular culture and truly pushes boundaries like no other artist does."

Pulse Films are behind the documentary, the company who also produced Katy Perry: Part of Me and Blur film No Distance Left to Run.
