My Summer as a Salvation Soldier

My Summer as a Salvation Soldier is a band with a rotating line up revolving around the song-writing of one Þórir Georg Jónsson. A 23 year old from Húsavík. A small fishing town on the north coast of Iceland.

Þórir has already released three, critically acclaimed, full length albums on Icelandic label 12 Tónar as well as numerous smaller independent releases. As well as performing well over 100 shows in 10 different countries.

As well as performing with My Summer as a Salvation Soldier, Þórir also plays guitar in hardcore/punk bands Gavin Portland, The Deathmetal Supersquad and Fighting Shit.
