Mukkaló

Mukkaló is a one year old band from the capital area of Iceland. The members are six and use various instruments to create a low-key folk/pop music, manifested in an ambient feeling. The lyrics are both in Icelandic and English and when examined closer have a religious undertone. Since their first performance at Iceland Airwaves off-venue concerts last year they have been playing in different places in Iceland, from churches to pubs, recorded instrumental music for a documentary film and other fun things.

But new and better recordings are maybe coming one day, until then you can come to hear us live sometimes somewhere in Iceland :)
