| Event Info: | Reykjavik Culture Night, held in August, is Iceland's largest cultural event, with one third of the whole population taking part. It has become an essential part of cultural life in Iceland with thousands of people strolling the streets of the city on this exciting and eventful night. |
| Event History: | Culture Night offers a lively programme of hundreds of different events including music, art, dance, theatre, sport, food, fashion and much more. Museums, shops and other venues in the city centre stay open throughout the evening and the event ends with a spectacular fireworks show from Reykjavik. |
