Icelandic rock band" Reykjavik! was formed nearly three years ago by a group of fun loving hedonists celebrating their newfound existence in Iceland's foremost capital. They have garnered some attention since they first started heaving out caffeine-fuelled guitorgies - a critically acclaimed full-length (unanimously picked &bdquoIceland's album of 2006&ldquo by the country's critics), a kick-ass EP and concerts at all of the world's major festivals. Singer Bóas provides a friendly atmosphere, drummer Kristjján supplies a steady, rockin' beat, bassist Valdi gets with the dementia and the twin-guitar assault of cousins Haukur and Gummi smears icing on an already overloaded cacophonous cake. They are also happy to provide freeloaders with fashion tips and thoughts on feminist philosophies.
