Belafonte’s eponymous first album has been developed over a period of years, with its members and contributing artists running around the four corners of the Reykjavík area, recording everywhere from living rooms to underground garages.
Sara Marti Gudmundsdottir has worked with Megas, Marc Almond, BangGang, DIP and others as well as being the singer for LHOOQ back in the 90s. She's acted in all the major theaters in Iceland and is currently living in London studying for a Masters degree in theatre directing.
Styrmir Sigurdsson studied film and has primarily made a name for himself as a director. He directed the first Fóstbræður comedy series as well as countless commercials. He's always been obsessed with music, and has composed for several theatre and film projects. He is currently studying jazz piano at the FÍH school of music.
