Greenhouse Studios was founded as a private studio in 1997 by musician/engineer/producer Valgeir Sigurdsson. It has since grown considerably to become a key player in the vibrant Icelandic music scene, with clients from all over the world as well as some of the best known local artists. Now a fully-fledged commercial recording studio - while still majoring on Valgeir Sigurdsson's own many and varied projects - Greenhouse Studios was revamped in 2000 with the birth of a new complex built to the exacting requirements of its owner and principal user. Greenhouse Studios is simultaneously efficient and homely; it has the feeling of a recording studio where you'd actually want to hang out, and, at the same time, it feels like a natural place to be that lends itself to recording music.
