Sigríður Sigurjónsdóttir - Iceland Academy of the Arts
Sigríður Sigurjónsdóttir is a professor of product design at the Iceland Academy of the Arts. At Central Saint Martins in London Sigridur carried out a research on digital artifacts and personal space. She worked for The Central Saint Martins Design Lab developing the future pocket for Intel. Following her studies she worked on cultural localization for digital products in Amsterdam and later as an application designer for interactive television in London. Currently Sigridur is leading a project at the Iceland Academy of the Arts called The Farmers Project. It is a 3 year long project that involves a collaboration between Icelandic farmers, designers, food scientists and chefs. The aim to create a unique product.Sigríður also works independently as a designer.
