Julie Weir - Visible Noise
Julie Weir has worked in the Music Industry for over 13 years moving from merchandising to label management to company director. Visible Noise, set up in 1998, is best known for its work with Lostprophets with whom they have had a number one album, numerous top 10 and top 20 singles and sold out arena tours...selling millions of records on the way.
They also broke Bullet for My Valentine in the Uk on a license and look after a number of upcoming bands including Bring me the Horizon, The Legacy, Your Demise and so on. As an Independent they have a lot of freedom and as such are very hands on with our artists - helping with management, booking shows, merchandising and more in order to get them to the next level. Visible Noise also has its own street team and runs numerous events.
As an individual, Julie consults on numerous projects for major labels too.
On the flip side of the company, they work in film as an independent production and sales company: Wild Bunch administers a catalogue of aproximately 400 titles, including Fernando Meirelles' CITY OF GOD, Steven Soderbergh’s CHE, J.A. Bayona’s THE ORPHANAGE, and Emir Kusturica's LIFE IS A MIRACLE and MARADONA.
